Key Responsibilities: - Mechanical design and development of cockpit electronics and electrification products for the automotive industry. - Providing mechanical support for products and productions including release, changes, etc. - Building and updating CAD models and drawings of parts and products, ensuring alignment with Technical Ladder community. - Utilizing fundamental CAE simulation tools to perform structural and thermal analyses in CATIA, validating designs to meet stringent automotive industry standards. - Leading technical design reviews and participating in DFMEA sessions. - Engaging in project management and process compliance activities. - Communicating and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. - 8 to 10 years of industry experience in relevant products. - Proficiency in 3D models design, including GSD (Generative surface design - Class A,) parts, and assemblies using CAD Tools like CATIA V5 and NX. - Experience in preparing 2D drawings using CAD Tools such as CATIA V5 and NX. - Knowledge of tolerance stack-up, GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and feasibility studies. - Familiarity with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and experience in plastic, sheet metal, and die casting component design. - Experience in DFM and DFA requirements, ME project management activities, and proficiency in JIRA (an added advantage). - Adherence to Visteon process compliance. - Effective communication skills in verbal and written English.
