Role & responsibilities Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Creo). 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development Strong knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering. Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and DFMEA assessments Background in sheet metal, plastics, or electromechanical systems Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASME, ISO, CE, UL) is desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred candidate profile Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD Good understanding of GD&T , DFM/DFA , and tolerance analysis . Familiarity with engineering documentation , including 2D drawings, BOMs, and change management. Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter) is desirable

Design and develop sheet metal, plastic and weldments using Creo/Solidworks Apply GD&T principles and DFM/DFA methodologies to ensure DFM, DFA & DFMEA Collaborate with CFT's, including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers Develop and test prototypes

15+ yrs exp. in mechanical engg with expertise in GD&T, DFMEA, Tolerance Stack-up, BOM, ECR/ECN, Sheet Metal, Plastic & Casting parts. Strong in team leadership, design verification, project management, EV knowledge and cross-functional coordination.
