Senior Engineer - IT

As an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist, your role involves installing and configuring computer applications, monitoring and maintaining computer networks, and providing day-to-day IT operations and administration support. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues, managing IT asset procurement and inventory, and ensuring high user satisfaction with IT services. Additionally, you will manage data backup for disaster recovery, maintain local IT infrastructure stability, and track IT system usage to uphold corporate standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure computer applications - Monitor and maintain computer networks - Diagnose and troubleshoot PC hardware and software issues - Manage IT asset procurement and inventory - Provide end-user IT support and maintain high user satisfaction - Manage data backup for disaster recovery - Maintain local IT infrastructure stability - Track IT system usage and uphold corporate standards - Conduct training for employees on software, hardware, and new IT tools - Control IT expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness - Establish a positive work environment based on mutual respect and teamwork - Manage and monitor servers, networking, and security infrastructure - Troubleshoot basic networking and server issues - Enforce quality and customer service standards - Solve problems decisively and manage workload effectively - Define tasks and requirements accurately for timely implementation - Work with flexible hours and travel domestically Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Bachelors in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent - Proficiency in ITIL concepts of IT service delivery - Proven experience in IT Infrastructure Support or similar role You are expected to possess good verbal and written communication skills, systematic problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
