Senior Engineer (Base24 or Tandem Development)

As an experienced Systems Engineer or Programmer with 8+ years of experience, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of solutions for ANZ's card transaction and settlement platform in Bengaluru. Your role will involve providing technical expertise to make informed decisions, responding to production incidents, and ensuring the successful implementation of software through the agreed software development lifecycle. The ANZ Card Switch Solution processes millions of credit and debit card transactions per day across various channels. It is a high-performance and robust system that requires 24/7 availability to provide essential services to customers in New Zealand. You will need to have a deep understanding of programming languages, software development, hardware systems, and networking. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in analyzing complex issues and implementing effective solutions. Key Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or programming - Experience in either Base24 or Tandem Development - Minimum 5 years of experience in POS, ATM, and Switching - Proficiency in Java and SQL technologies - Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to evolving environments Your responsibilities will include orchestrating system configurations, providing primary and secondary support for incidents, implementing vendor upgrades/patches, managing pre-production and production environments, and collaborating with other teams for end-to-end testing.
