Senior Engineer (Base24 or Tandem Development)

As the systems engineer or programmer in this role, you will be required to have a deep understanding of programming languages, software development, hardware systems, and networking. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you analyze complex issues, devise effective solutions, and implement them efficiently. Your role will involve project management, innovation, communication with team members and clients, adaptability to evolving technologies, and proficiency in data analysis and interpretation for informed decision-making. To excel in this position, you must possess at least 8 years of experience in systems engineering or programming, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in POS, ATM, and Switching. Experience in Base24 or Tandem Development is essential, along with proficiency in Java and SQL technologies. Your ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment, improve processes, contribute to design and development, and provide technical expertise will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, having knowledge of cybersecurity protocols, experience in infrastructure and system engineering, and the ability to respond to production incidents effectively are crucial requirements. You will play a pivotal role in implementing vendor upgrades/patches, orchestrating system changes, ensuring successful software implementation, and managing pre-production and production environments. While not mandatory, familiarity with computer security, SSL, DNS, Linux, virtualization, clustering, and infrastructure will be advantageous.
