Position Overview

Senior Electronics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development

• Lead circuit design for

  power conversion systems

  , motor controllers, and battery management circuits.
• Develop and optimize

  high-efficiency DC-DC converters, motor drivers, and charging systems

  .
• Design

  multi-layer PCBs

  for high-current and mixed-signal applications ensuring thermal and layout optimization.
• Oversee component selection, schematic design, simulation, and validation.
  

• Battery & Power Systems

• Design and test

  Battery Management Systems (BMS)

  for Li-ion / LiFePO battery packs.
• Integrate

  safety, protection, and communication (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C)

  in battery and vehicle control systems.
• Develop

  power distribution and protection circuits

  for automotive-grade applications.

• Testing & Validation

• Conduct

  functional, environmental, and electrical testing

  of circuits and systems.
• Ensure

  compliance with EMI/EMC, ISO 7637, ISO 11452

  , and other automotive standards.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware issues using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power analyzers.
  

• Manufacturing & Documentation

• Work with vendors for

  PCB fabrication and assembly

  of multi-layer, high-density boards.
• Generate detailed

  design documentation, BOMs, test procedures, and validation reports

  .
• Collaborate with mechanical and firmware teams for

  system-level integration

  .

• Process & Leadership

• Mentor junior engineers and review their schematic and layout designs.
  
• Drive

  DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

  and

  DFA (Design for Assembly)

  practices.
• Continuously improve designs for cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum

  5+ years

  in power electronics and embedded hardware design.
• Strong expertise in:
  

• Power electronics

  (DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers, power supplies).

• Battery systems

  (BMS, cell balancing, SOC/SOH estimation).

• PCB design

  using Altium Designer / Cadence / KiCad with experience in

  multi-layer high-current layouts

  .

• EMI/EMC design principles

  , grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques.

• Automotive communication protocols

  (CAN, LIN, RS485).
• Hands-on experience with

  hardware validation

  ,

  test instruments

  , and

  design debugging

  .
• Familiarity with

  automotive standards (AEC-Q, ISO 26262, etc.)

  is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
