Role Overview: As a Site Engineer Senior Electrical, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supervising electrical installations for construction projects on-site. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all electrical work is conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Your strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be key to your success in this role. Testing & Commissioning: - Assist in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. - Conduct various electrical tests, such as insulation resistance tests, earth fault loop impedance tests, and functional tests of electrical equipment. - Prepare test reports and documentation for completed electrical systems. Quality Control & Safety: - Implement and enforce quality control procedures for all electrical installations. - Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site. - Identify and report any potential hazards or unsafe conditions related to electrical work. - Promote a safety-conscious culture among electrical contractors and subcontractors. Coordination & Communication: - Coordinate with other site engineers, supervisors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with other construction activities. - Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors regarding electrical installations and related issues. - Attend site meetings and provide updates on electrical work progress. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in electrical construction projects. - Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. - Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and equipment. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
