Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical mechanical engineering support for projects, ensuring high standards and timely delivery. Your responsibilities will include: - Producing technical deliverables such as schedules, data sheets, engineering calculations, and specifications for subcontracts. - Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including control, monitoring, and telemetry systems. - Developing electrical installation designs to ensure compliance with safety standards, particularly for hazardous areas. - Supporting the development of incoming electrical supply systems to enhance reliability and efficiency. - Collaborating with the supply chain and conducting technical bid analysis for their designs. - Ensuring all work meets technical standards, adhering to MAS requirements and challenging when necessary. - Driving excellence in health and safety by applying CDM regulations and creating safe designs. - Maintaining quality and consistency in all engineering technical documents and deliverables. - Working closely with senior engineers and discipline heads to ensure thorough checking and approval of technical deliverables. - Communicating effectively across teams to ensure technical excellence and escalating any potential issues to the Technical Manager. - Collaborating with engineers and technical managers to ensure smooth project interfaces and sharing best practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma, B.Tech degree, or higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline. - Solid experience in a project engineering environment with a strong understanding of electrical design and project delivery. - Excellent knowledge of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment, including instrumentation and power supply design. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Experience in applying CDM regulations and ensuring safety standards are adhered to in designs. - A proactive approach to learning and development, with a keen interest in embracing new technologies and improving efficiency. - A commitment to safety, ensuring all designs comply with CDM regulations and health and safety practices. Preferable candidates for this role should: - Be fluent in Hindi, English, and the local language. - Possess 7-8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer. - Have experience in electrical knowledge related to water treatment plants and solar plants. - Have mandatory knowledge of LT and HT power line.
