We are seeking a Senior Instructional Designer with 5 10 years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering impactful eLearning solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can balance creativity with proven instructional design methodologies, manage complex learning projects, and mentor a team of designers. This role demands strong collaboration skills, the ability to work closely with stakeholders and SMEs, and a track record of delivering innovative, learner-centric experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of eLearning programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner needs.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define learning strategies.
- Design scenario-based, problem-solving, and experiential learning activities using models such as ADDIE, SAM, or Agile Learning.
- Oversee the creation of storyboards, scripts, prototypes, and interactive content.
- Ensure courses meet SCORM/xAPI compliance and integrate seamlessly into Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Conduct design reviews and quality checks for instructional accuracy, engagement, and technical performance.
- Mentor and coach junior instructional designers, fostering professional growth and best practices.
- Leverage emerging learning technologies, such as gamification, microlearning, adaptive learning, and AI-based personalization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and apply innovative design approaches to enhance the learner experience.
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Instructional Design, Education, eLearning, Communication, or related discipline.
- 5 10 years of experience in instructional design with a focus on digital learning and multimedia content creation.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design frameworks, and learning experience design (LxD).
- Expert-level proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Camtasia, etc.).
- Strong experience with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- High attention to detail with a creative, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in AR/VR learning design, branching simulations, and interactive videos.
- Knowledge of learning analytics to measure program effectiveness and engagement.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles for designing intuitive learning interfaces.
