We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director – Business Development to join our leadership team.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a seasoned professional with proven experience in investment banking, debt syndication, corporate lending, and debt fundraising in India.


What we are looking for

The ideal candidate is not just a business development leader, but a rainmaker – someone who can independently originate, acquire, and close mandates, leveraging an existing network of clients and relationships.

You should be able to walk in on Day 1 with a credible plan, a client acquisition strategy, and a roadmap for converting relationships into revenue.

This is a hybrid role offering significant flexibility to work from home; however, the candidate must be based in Delhi-NCR (non-negotiable).

Compensation blends fixed and performance-linked pay, with total earnings potential well beyond market norms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently spearhead business development and client acquisition efforts across India.
  • Originate, structure, and secure mandates for debt fundraising, promoter financing, corporate lending, and investment banking transactions.
  • Leverage an existing, well-nurtured network of promoters, CXOs, family offices, UHNIs, and corporates to drive immediate business traction.
  • Act as the face of client engagement – from origination to mandate conversion – ensuring seamless relationship management and trust building.
  • Develop and execute a robust business plan and actionable roadmap aligned with firm goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategy, while operating with independence, ownership, and entrepreneurial drive.


Desired Profile

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, debt syndication, corporate lending, or debt fundraising in India.
  • A proven track record of closing high-value transactions and acquiring mandates in the mid-market / mid-corporate segment.
  • A strong, credible network of promoters, corporates, and HNIs that can be immediately leveraged.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while aligning with firm vision.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and client-centric orientation.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and relentlessly execution-driven.
