What you’ll be doing Strategic & Operational Leadership Oversee all Business Technology (BT) functions based in Bangalore, including Application Development, Engineering, and Automation resources. Provide strategic direction for IT initiatives to align with overall business goals. Indirect oversight of BT contractors and employees across India, ensuring collaboration across global and local teams. Site Leadership & People Management Serve as a BT site leader for the Bangalore office, actively participating in local leadership forums. Build strong relationships with BT employees, contribute to talent acquisition, leadership hiring, and participate in performance calibration for BT staff. Create a work environment that fosters collaboration and operational excellence for employees at all levels. Operational Excellence & Vendor Management Drive operational excellence by establishing and optimizing engineering practices across the organization. Manage key vendor relationships to ensure service delivery and continuous improvement. Ensure efficient site operations and facilities that enhance employee experience and productivity. About the Role What you’ll bring to the role Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, MBA or equivalent in management a plus 15+ years of experience in IT roles, and 10+ years’ experience managing teams, with a focus on enterprise systems, business technology, and engineering management/software life cycle management. Preference for candidates from IT background with experience in application development within internal organizations. The candidate will manage internal IT support for SaaS solutions and work closely with the application development and infrastructure teams. Experience in SaaS application development, implementation, and internal infrastructure management is a must. We uses Salesforce, NetSuite and workday, a good application development and implementation is an advantage and key skill to have. Proven expertise in managing and aligning cross-functional technology teams (HR, Finance, GTM, etc.). Strong site leadership experience, with the ability to build collaborative environments and engage employees at all levels. Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and vendor management skills. Experience with emerging technologies and automation will be an added advantage. Show more Show less
