Timely delivery of DHL packages around the globe in a way that ensures customer data security is at the core of what we do. As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Take end-to-end care of our systems including designing, developing, operating, and supporting.
  • Participate in testing and test automation using modern technologies.
  • Handle daily operations, maintenance, monitoring, and capacity adjustments.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and solution design.
  • Deliver assigned services according to agreed SLAs (TRT, Availability, Performance).
  • Act as a primary technical point for RUN-related aspects (Incident Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management, SW patching).
  • Maintain production and pre-production environments.
  • Document work using required standards, methods, and tools.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

As a DevOps Engineer, having awareness of DevOps and Agile principles is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of:

  • Software & DB development (Snowflake primary, Teradata secondary; Cognos & Power BI a plus).
  • ELT processing using Matillion in Snowflake; Fabric ADF a plus.
  • Relational DB architecture, SQL, Stored Procedures.
  • OS Linux, including Shell/Bash scripting.
  • Monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • APIs: REST, XML/XSD, JSON.
  • IT infrastructure (HW, network, OS, DB, middleware).
  • Public Cloud Infrastructure (Azure advantage).
  • CICD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Artifactory, IBM UCD a plus).

Nice to have:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
