Job Description

Client: Our client is a leading telecommunications provider in the UAE, specializing in innovative digital services and committed to delivering exceptional connectivity and technology solutions.
Position overview: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure, managing deployments, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our CI/CD pipelines. This is a key role enabling smooth and secure delivery of our platform services.

Technology stack: Cloud: Microsoft Azure
Azure Services: Function App, App Service, Application Gateway, Communication Services, PostgreSQL Flexible Server
Architecture: Hub-Spoke Network Topology
Tech Stack: JavaScript, NX, Next.js, Node.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, Keycloak
Deployment Tools: GitLab CI/CD, manual deployments

Responsibilities: Maintain, monitor, and optimize Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
Configure and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments to improve deployment processes.
Manage application secrets and configurations securely using Azure Key Vault.
Monitor system performance, ensuring reliability, security, and availability.
Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to streamline deployment workflows.
Coordinate with external DevOps and security teams to maintain cloud security and compliance standards.

Requirements: Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipeline construction and optimization, preferably with GitLab CI/CD.
Experience managing secrets/configurations using Azure Key Vault or similar tools.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Next.js, Node.js) and PostgreSQL databases.
Understanding of secure and scalable cloud architectures, including network topologies like Hub-Spoke.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with monitoring tools and incident response processes.
Good communication skills in English.
