Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)

• Design, provision, and manage

  AWS cloud infrastructure

• Implement

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  using

  Terraform

• Configure and manage

  AWS IAM policies, roles, and permissions

• Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures

DevOps & CI/CD

• Design and implement

  CI/CD pipelines

  for build, test, and deployment
• Work with

  GitHub, GitLab

  , and related Git-based workflows
• Manage build and deployment pipelines using tools such as

  Jenkins, Concourse

  , or similar
• Enable DevSecOps practices across pipelines

Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation using

  Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks
• Improve reliability and deployment consistency through scripting and tooling

Containers & Platform Engineering

• Build and manage containerized workloads using

  Docker

• Deploy and operate applications on

  Kubernetes

• Support container-based application deployments and troubleshooting

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a

  technical contributor and mentor

  within the DevOps team
• Collaborate with application development teams and security teams
• Provide DevSecOps guidance to internal engineering teams and customers

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Engineering

  , or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years

  of overall IT experience

• 5+ years

  of DevOps experience with

  3+ years on AWS (or Azure/AWS combined)

• Strong hands-on experience with:

• AWS cloud services

• Infrastructure as Code using

  Terraform

• GitHub, GitLab, and Git-based workflows
• CI/CD pipeline design and build management
• Scripting using

  Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Containers:

  Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience working with databases such as

  PostgreSQL

  and

  Elastic

Good to Have

• Background in

  application development

  (Java, Spring Boot)
• Experience with

  automated testing

  practices
• Familiarity with build tools like

  Apache Maven

• AWS or Azure

  certifications

• Experience supporting multiple teams or client engagements
