The Role

Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Monitor and troubleshoot system reliability, performance, and security.
• Set up and manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement security best practices across environments.
• Mentor junior team members and lead DevOps initiatives.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimise workflows and deployment cycles.
• Work closely with the support team to help on any technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Strong experience with cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency with IaC tools like

  Terraform, Ansible

  , or

  CloudFormation.

• Experience with

  Docker

  and container orchestration platforms like

  Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of

  CI/CD tools

  such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with

  Linux-based systems.

• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, CDN, firewalls, load balancers.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.

Nice to Have

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, etc.
• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Exposure to GitOps principles and tools like Flux or ArgoCD.
• Experience in fast-paced startup or product environments.
