Senior Developer, ABAP

Role Overview: As a Senior Developer, ABAP (SAP) at Visy, you will be responsible for delivering professional solutions based on requirements gathered from the end customer. You will work with internal resources and external vendors to maintain or enhance the clients" ERP systems. Your role will involve maintaining technical/functional documentation, interpreting business requirements, designing and developing high-quality solutions, and providing ongoing support for the VISY SAP environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver professional solutions based on customer requirements - Work with internal and external resources to maintain or enhance ERP systems - Maintain technical/functional documentation - Interpret business requirements and design high-quality solutions - Provide ongoing support for the VISY SAP environment - Develop and support existing business solutions - Assist other developers and address production issues - Recommend and implement performance tuning enhancements - Develop technical solutions in line with service level agreements - Provide solution development, maintenance, and future enhancements - Identify areas for improvement and recommend new technologies - Guide the formation of testing strategy and script reviews Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - Excellent knowledge of SAP solutions like ERP, HR, CRM, BI, Solman - Strong problem-solving and technical skills - Involvement in application developments, maintenance, and technical support - Working knowledge of change control processes - Strong documentation skills - 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP solutions - Understanding of SAP technical/development related to end users" data requirements - Experience in full lifecycle implementations in various SAP modules - Business process review and re-engineering skills - Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing solution - Knowledge of ALE/IDocs, Workflow, and project management methodologies Additional Company Details (if present): Visy is a family-owned Australian business and a global pioneer in sustainable packaging, recycling, and logistics.
