You will be part of a global pioneer in sustainable packaging, recycling, and logistics as a Senior Developer, ABAP (SAP) for Visy, a family-owned Australian business. Your role will involve delivering professional solutions based on end customer requirements, collaborating with internal and external resources to enhance the clients" ERP systems, and maintaining technical/functional documentation. You will interpret business requirements to design and develop high-quality solutions, ensuring adherence to proper design principles and system stability. Your responsibilities will include providing support for the SAP environment, addressing production issues, and implementing performance tuning enhancements. Additionally, you will contribute to testing strategies, script reviews, and release strategies in coordination with the customer. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and possess in-depth knowledge of various SAP solutions such as ERP, HR, CRM, and BI. Your ability to provide specialist advice in a complex environment, manage testing/quality control, and follow change control processes will be crucial. Strong documentation skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise in SAP programming technologies are essential for success. Your technical skills should include at least 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP solutions like ECC, Gateway, and BI, with exposure to full lifecycle implementations and cross-functional modules. Familiarity with ALE/IDocs, Workflow, Project Management methodologies, and SAP workflow development will be advantageous. You should also have expertise in SAP RICEFW activities, ABAP programming, SAP workflow development, and integration/data interfaces development.
