We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading data-driven projects, applying advanced analytics, and delivering actionable insights. This role involves collaborating across teams, mentoring junior staff, and staying current with developing technologies in data science and machine learning.

Skills

Key Skills

Master’s degree or higher in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.

Proficiency in R or Python (R preferred) for data modeling and analysis.

Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.

Hands-on experience with machine learning models and statistical techniques.

Proven ability to translate complex data findings into business strategies.

Experience in cross-validation techniques and model evaluation.

Excellent communication skills for delivering technical and non-technical reports.

Ability to mentor junior data scientists and guide project execution.

Knowledge of ethical data practices and data governance.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

Understanding of big data platforms and distributed computing frameworks.

Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data projects.
