Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust
ETL/ELT data pipelines
for large-scale data processing.
Develop optimized data models and transformations using Snowflake, Redshift, and Databricks.
Write complex, high-performance queries using
Advanced SQL
.
Develop scalable data processing solutions using Python.
Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
Partner with analytics teams to deliver reporting and dashboards using Tableau.
Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of cloud-based data platforms.
Ensure best practices in data security, quality, governance, and compliance.
Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive data engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders for data-driven decision making.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
Python
for data engineering.
Expertise in
Advanced SQL
(window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
Extensive experience with
Snowflake
and
Amazon Redshift
.
Strong experience with
Databricks / Apache Spark
.
Hands-on experience building
ETL/Data Pipelines
.
Strong dashboarding and data visualization experience using
Tableau
.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Good to Have Skills

Experience with Airflow, dbt, or other orchestration tools.
Streaming data exposure (Kafka, Kinesis).
CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code experience.
