Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Data Engineer

with proven expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Python

and

AWS Glue

, strong SQL skills, and deep knowledge of

ETL best practices, data modeling, and warehousing

. This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and Python.
Perform complex data transformations and ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.
Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Monitor, debug, and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the data engineering process, tools, and practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5–10 years of experience in data engineering / ETL development.
Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, PySpark, boto3).
Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and AWS Data Ecosystem (S3, Athena, Redshift, Lambda).
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and schema design.
Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines (Git, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
