Senior Data Engineer | Global Analytics – HEINEKEN

Join HEINEKEN’s Global Analytics team and play a key role in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance data platforms. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to enable advanced analytics and data driven decision making across sales, marketing, logistics, and operations worldwide.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering

• Strong hands on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks

• Very strong SQL skills and experience with Azure SQL Database or SQL Server

• Solid experience with Apache Spark and large scale data processing

• Proficiency in Python or Scala with a focus on clean and scalable code

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling

• Experience working with structured, semi structured, and unstructured data

• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

• This is an individual contributor role

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes

• Develop and optimize Databricks based data processing workflows

• Refactor code and services to support dynamic OpCo and multi tenant deployments

• Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders on analytics needs

• Ensure data quality through validation checks and testing strategies

• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to ensure reliable data delivery

• Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and reliability

• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are met

• Continuously improve data engineering tools, frameworks, and processes
