• Databases & SQL: Advanced SQL, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning
• Big Data Integration: Hadoop, Spark
• Cloud ETL Platforms: AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow
• Data Quality & Governance: Data Validation, Metadata Management, Compliance
• Other: Strong debugging, optimization, and automation skills

Relevant Skills:

• Building and optimizing ETL pipelines using Talend
• Designing robust data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes
• Managing big data frameworks (Hadoop/Spark) for large-scale data processing
• Cloud-native ETL development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Applying performance tuning to optimize data processing workflows
• Ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance in data engineering solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for scalable data solutions

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend and other tools
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows across on-prem and cloud platforms
• Implement and optimize big data integration using Hadoop and Spark
• Work on cloud ETL solutions (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow)
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across multiple sources
• Tune performance of SQL queries and ETL workflows for efficiency
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to align architecture with requirements
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and automate ETL and data processes
• Document and maintain best practices for data engineering solutions
