Job Description

Role Overview: As a Data Technical Consultant at Salesforce, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing data management projects for customers to ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in technical and functional aspects will be key in setting customers up for success in the Salesforce data space. You will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise related to data management solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Work on complex data projects including migrations, integrations, data architecture, and data governance - Convert high-level requirements into solutions without needing detailed specifications - Utilize ETL tools such as SSIS, Boomi, or Informatica Power Centre, Mulesoft - Demonstrate expertise in Data Quality, Data Management, Data Security, Data Governance - Proficient in PL/SQL query writing and relational databases - Basic understanding of DBamp and experience with SF Data Loader and writing SOQL - Expose yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Migration tools - Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, Salesforce Analytics - Familiarity with master data management projects and practices - Thorough understanding of Salesforce.com and its project lifecycle - Good organizational and customer service skills - Knowledge of enterprise analytics, big data platforms, data exchange models, CRM, MDM, and cloud integration - Data modeling experience and designing logical models/data dictionaries - Provide Architectural/Design insight in projects when required - Implementation experience in Salesforce Sales and Service functionality and CRM areas - Mentorship, team handling, and troubleshooting skills - Understanding of Internet technologies: firewalls, web servers, web proxy servers, etc. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in complex data projects - Ability to convert high-level requirements into solutions - Proficiency in ETL tools and PL/SQL query writing - Experience with Salesforce.com, BI tools, and data modeling - Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills - Certification in Salesforce Certified Administrator (201) and Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant is desired (Note: Accommodations for applicants with disabilities are available upon request.
