The Security Solutions, Platform and Analytics team (SPA) builds custom solutions that empower Snowflake's security team to deliver the most secure Data Cloud. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Python, and security domain knowledge to analyze security logs and event data, translating security requirements into effective technical solutions. You will develop advanced analytics techniques and build scalable solutions to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in security data.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Develop and optimize data pipelines, data models, and visualization dashboards for security analytics
• Design and develop scalable automated solutions in collaboration with various security teams
• Take ownership of database management tasks, including data modeling and performance optimization
• Utilize tools like DBT to streamline data transformations and ensure data quality
• Conduct research and propose innovative approaches to enhance security posture
• Translate security requirements into technical solutions aligned with organizational goals

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in Data Analytics with strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with data visualization, DBT, and data pipeline development
• Hands-on experience on Snowflake along with prompting Cortex functions is a plus
• Strong understanding of databases, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Security domain knowledge, including SIEM systems and threat intelligence platforms
• Proven ability to analyze complex security events and communicate findings effectively
