If you are looking for an opportunity in Technology Solutions and Development, Emerson has an exciting role for you! You will be responsible for supporting the BI tool stack, especially SSIS, SSRS, Azure Synapse Analytics, ETL, SQL Server programming & Data Marts. Your role will involve providing prompt support, maintenance, and development to assigned projects and other responsibilities. The team delivers technology solutions for strategic business needs, drives adoption of these services, and enhances customer experience. **Your Responsibilities Will Include:** - Understand the business need, develop solutions, and support production systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft BI tool stack and SQL server programming. - Perform root cause analysis on production issues using data to diagnose bottlenecks and inefficiencies. - Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes. - Gather requirements and analyze changes in ETL, support, and performance improvements. - Configure and maintain database servers and processes to ensure high performance, availability, and security. - Handle tier 3 support tickets and provide resolution within defined service level agreements. - Write ETL jobs to download different types of data from Oracle to SQL Server Data Marts. - Implement SSIS package configurations and design and develop reports using SSRS. - Experience in working on Azure Services like Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake (Good to have). - Proficient in writing complex SQL and PLSQL programs and performance tuning. - Coordinate and report status to the client effectively. - Good communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers. - Ability to work independently and within a team environment. **Qualifications Needed:** - 6-7 years of experience working with Microsoft BI tool stack and SQL server programming. - Strong analytical abilities with a track record of resolving complex data challenges. - Proficient in database management, SQL query optimization, and data mapping. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Flexible to work in a 24x7 environment. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science with a technical background. - Good interpersonal skills in English, both spoken and written.
