Description
Role Overview: In this role, your responsibilities will include reviewing product designs and providing feedback to designers based on various standards such as UL, CSA, FM, ATEX, IEC, and NEC. You will also be responsible for ensuring that schematic and PCB designs meet IS requirements, identifying non-compliance issues, and collaborating with the design team to address them. Additionally, you will assess drawings, manuals, and reports to ensure compliance with standards. Moreover, you will interpret product standards, prepare test plans, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to validate the test plans and provide recommendations for product improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Review product designs and provide feedback based on UL, CSA, FM, ATEX, IEC, NEC standards - Ensure schematic and PCB designs meet IS requirements - Identify and address non-compliance gaps with the design team - Assess drawings, manuals, and reports for compliance with standards - Interpret product standards and prepare test plans - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to validate test plans - Provide recommendations for product improvements Qualification Required: - BE in Electronics Engineering or related field - Working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design - Experience in low-level analog, filter, signal processing, and microcontroller circuit design - Ability to work in a laboratory environment and conduct required tests - Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience Additional Company Details: At Emerson, we prioritize creating a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
