Sr. Engineer Compliance/Certification

Role Overview: As a Design Review Engineer, your role will involve reviewing product designs and providing feedback to designers to ensure compliance with standards such as UL, CSA, FM, ATEX, IEC, NEC, and others. You will also be responsible for assessing schematic and PCB designs, identifying non-compliance gaps, and working with the design team to address issues. Additionally, you will evaluate drawings, manuals, and reports to ensure they meet the required standards. Key Responsibilities: - Review product designs for compliance with industry standards - Evaluate schematic and PCB designs to ensure they meet IS requirements - Identify non-compliance gaps and collaborate with the design team to resolve issues - Assess drawings, manuals, and reports for adherence to standards - Interpret product standards and prepare test plans accordingly - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for certification - Provide product improvement recommendations based on test results - Qualify products for CE marking, including EMI/EMC testing Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience with certifications in analog and digital circuit design - Proficiency in low-level analog, filter, signal processing, and microcontroller circuit design - Experience working in a laboratory setting, conducting tests and troubleshooting - Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience - Strong knowledge of international standards like UL, CSA, IEC, and EN Additional Details of the Company: At Emerson, we prioritize creating a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
