Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Role Overview: As an ICG Risk Analysis Credit Risk Associate at Citi, you will be responsible for assessing the credit and financial strength of Citis most complex Large Corporate, Public Sector, and Financial Institutions Clients. You will perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using quantitative and qualitative factors, complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos, and Final Obligor Risk Ratings. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of the covered portfolio, including following industry trends, providing recommendations on risk ranking across the sector, and partnering with regional and industry stakeholders. Additionally, you will support ICG Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Assess the credit and financial strength of Citis most complex Large Corporate, Public Sector, and Financial Institutions Clients - Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings - Continuous monitoring of the covered portfolio, including following industry trends and escalation of potential credit issues - Review and provide recommendations on the risk ranking across the sector - Partnership with regional and industry stakeholders in the implementation of credit assessment and monitoring standards - Support ICG Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives - Travel (less than 10%) Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management, or equivalent credit experience - Strong knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and organizational awareness - Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to form independent opinions on credit and recognize emerging risks - Solid and thorough knowledge of Citis systems - Experience in preparing presentations for seniors - Full awareness and adherence to the control environment including Quality Assurance and Quality Control - Ability to coach and mentor analysts to develop team strengths and improve weaknesses - Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and exert influence - Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively - Clear written and verbal communication skills - Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills Education: - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA) or any other related subject If you are at the start of your career or looking to discover your next adventure, consider applying for this role at Citi today to expand your skills and make a difference at one of the world's most global banks.,
