Job Description

We seek a content strategist for a personal care D2C brand in Bengaluru.


Job Responsibilities


Creative Strategy

  • Plan, initiate, and drive content projects across the funnel - from briefs and frameworks to execution and rollout.
  • Translate brand insights and business goals into creative content across paid, organic, and owned channels.
  • Work closely with creative stakeholders and the brand team to sharpen messaging, innovate formats, and ensure content ladders up to brand tone and performance goals.


Campaigns & Channels

  • Ideate on content that can scale across multiple channels: Instagram, Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Marketplace content, website Ux, and CRM.
  • Write clear, compelling, platform-specific copies and scripts for Reels, explainers, creator/influencer-led videos, static banners, and cross-channel applications without losing the thread of campaign storytelling and brand ToV.
  • Shape each idea into a visually distinctive and tonally on-brand output.


Writing & Concepting

  • Write clear, compelling, and tonally consistent content across formats: ads, reels, landing pages, product PDPs, blogs, and more.
  • Collaborate with designers, video editors, and performance teams to build content that’s visually impactful and conversion-aware.
  • Partner with creative leadership to evolve Mahina’s brand voice and tone playbook as we scale.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Be the strategic content voice in brainstorms, planning meetings, and campaign war rooms.
  • Collaborate with brand and design teams to co-create content journeys that are both effective and emotionally resonant.
  • Coordinate with freelancers, agencies, and internal team members to keep content moving across timelines and deliverables.


Job Qualifications


● 3–8 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or brand writing roles


● Proven ability to lead cross-functional content projects end-to-end


● Strong understanding of both formats (ads, videos, carousels, banners, blogs) and channels (Meta, LinkedIn, email, website, marketplaces, Google Ads, etc.)


● Sharp copy instincts + content intuition that balances brand and performance


● Exceptional spoken and written English, with basic understanding of visual communication.
