Job Description

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the management company and affiliated entities.
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense allocations across entities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Assist with tax filings and liaise with external tax advisors and auditors.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
Collaborate with operations, legal, and investor relations teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
Participate in system implementations and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant designation preferred.

5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within asset management, hedge funds, or financial services.

Strong understanding of GAAP and investment management accounting.

Proficiency in accounting software Workday and Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Exposure to Automation tools like UiPath, Blue Prism & MS Power Automate will be given preference.
