Job Description

The role at WNS involves supporting all migrations and transitions through a central transitions team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and safeguarding all transitions happening across the organization and various geographies. Your role will begin once a new project is approved and will continue until all processes of the project are live, stable, and all client objectives are met. Moreover, you will also be tasked with developing tailored solutions and pricing for Requests for Proposal (RFP) and deal pursuits. Your key responsibilities will include leading large-scale transitions of client processes, meticulous project planning and reporting to clients, internal stakeholders, and transition leaders, proactive project review to manage risks, issues, escalations, and milestones effectively, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing efficient solutions, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, managing project escalations and conflicts, mentoring and coaching direct reports for their professional growth, and ensuring positive transition outcomes by focusing on project financials, customer experience, and metrics delivery. You will also be required to lead multiple initiatives concurrently, ensure compliance and continuous improvement to the WNS Transition Methodology, design transition solutions for new opportunities, respond to RFPs, and handle additional responsibilities within the transition function. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent project management skills across various project types, complexities, domains, and geographies. Being a self-starter with strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and consultative skills is essential. Additionally, a deep understanding of BPO business aspects such as QA, MIS, SLA, and base-lining is crucial. Any project management certification like PMP or experience in Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous. In addition to the technical skills, you should maintain a structured work schedule, demonstrate strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills, have proficiency in research and data analysis, possess effective reporting and documentation abilities, maintain confidentiality, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, showcase financial acumen, and excel in interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in the BFSI domain, proven success in leading multidimensional transitions, at least 10 years of customer-facing roles, and previous collaboration with IT Projects teams for successful technology delivery as part of transition projects.
