Driven by an intelligent, decision based engine, the visionary technology enables marketers to achieve measurable results in record time.As an senior IC, you will own delivery and technology vision for developing services and components which will act as building blocks for product development within Adobe Digital experience business unit. You will work closely with product management team, engineering teams, and customers. Developing right technology vision, practices and team culture to ensure good quality, timely delivery and foster innovation are going to be a key focus areaKey Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve the architectural vision and roadmap for our products, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical guidelines.
  • Offer proactive thought leadership, identifying new technologies, market trends, and exciting opportunities (e.g., advanced AI/GenAI applications).
  • Develop and lead all aspects of the implementation of highly scalable, resilient, and performant distributed systems, encompassing hundreds of microservices.
  • Drive the development of both new product functionalities and the operational aspects of our systems, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and disaster recovery.
  • Lead the technical delivery of AI-powered features for customers, applying your AI knowledge, particularly in generative AI and agents.
  • Explore and implement AI solutions to improve developer efficiency and internal processes.
  • Ensure architectural decisions drive strong customer happiness and positive business outcomes.
  • Cultivate an environment of ownership, innovation, and challenge the status quo.
  • Provide thought leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams across multiple locations.
  • Stay at the forefront of technology trends, continually evaluating and recommending new tools, technologies, and approaches.
What you need to succeed
  • Passion and love for what you do!
  • 14+ years of experience in software development with 5+ years in a software architect role crafting and building large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in crafting and implementing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and performant architectures.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Rest Services, MySQL or Postgres, MongoDB, Kafka.
  • Experience in developing and building solutions with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Good understanding of working with Cassandra, Solr, ElasticSearch, Snowflake.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or industry publications are an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Generative AI (GenAI) and Agents.
  • Demonstrating experience in leading teams to deliver AI-powered features for customers and using AI for internal team efficiency.
  • Ambitious and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrating a strong bias to action.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, capable of quickly changing and learning new technologies and domains.
  • Proven skill in effectively managing collaborators and working in collaboration with teams spread across different locations.
  • Strong business insight with the ability to link technical decisions to customer impact and business value.
  • Established capability in sparking creativity and spearheading transformation.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Superb communication skills in speaking and writing, as well as the capacity to sway, motivate, and empower individuals.
