German MNC and one of the worlds leading manufacturers of car parking systems.

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies for electrical, electronic, and automation components.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers (domestic and international) to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet project and operational requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Analyze market trends and recommend sourcing strategies for cost optimization.
Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels effectively.
Support new product development (NPD) projects through timely procurement of materials.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: BE in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: 56 years in procurement/supply chain with focus on electrical, electronic, and automation materials.
Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components, automation systems, and industrial equipment.
Preferred industry exposure: Automation, Material Handling, HVAC, Heavy Engineering, EPC.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle or equivalent) and MS Office.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within deadlines.
