Senior Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager in the solar energy sector, your role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, primarily focusing on the Commercial and Industrial sectors. You will be required to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, electrical consultants, PMC agents, and regulatory bodies. Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential projects will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal submissions, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures. - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and technical soundness of proposed projects. - Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's market presence and increase revenue streams. - Provide detailed reports on business development activities, market analysis, and competitor performance to senior management. - Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's services and products. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the solar energy industry with expertise in business development, sales, and project management. - Strong understanding of solar power technologies, installation processes, and industry regulations. - Experience in managing and leading sales cycles, including negotiation and contract management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. - Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities. - Willingness to travel as required. - Preferred: MBA, Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
