Description
Responsibilities: Architect, build, and scale backend services using Node.js and TypeScript , deployed via Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Firebase and Cloud Run . Design and maintain real-time AI data pipelines integrating biometric wearables, electronic health records, and live voice interactions. Optimize performance and data processing pipelines for biometric signals (heart rate, sleep data, blood pressure, etc.). Integrate with AI services such as OpenAI and LiveKit to support real-time voice interactions. Develop and maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant API endpoints for sensitive medical and biometric data. Collaborate with frontend developers, AI engineers, and designers to bring OmegaX’s product vision to life. Drive decisions around infrastructure, performance optimization, and scalability. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript . Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Firebase, Cloud Run, or Compute Engine. Strong understanding of real-time systems , WebSockets , and optimizing API response times for voice and live interactions. Proficiency in databases such as Firestore , PostgreSQL , or NoSQL alternatives. Experience designing or working with event-driven architectures and real-time APIs . Deep understanding of data security , authentication , and privacy protocols , particularly for healthcare systems (HIPAA, GDPR). Startup mindset: adaptable, collaborative, and energized by ambitious roadmaps. Strong communication skills and a passion for building impactful healthcare solutions powered by AI. Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with LiveKit , OpenAI APIs , or other real-time conversational AI tools. Familiarity with Web3 technologies, such as Solana , smart contracts , DAO governance , or zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) . Prior experience handling medical data in compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
