We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Payment Gateway integrations to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with AI tools for speeding up development and have knowledge of the stitching method for building scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs.
• Implement and integrate payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Paytm, etc.) ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Optimize backend architecture for scalability, performance, and security.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development, improve efficiency, and maintain code quality.
• Apply stitching methods to seamlessly integrate services, APIs, and modular components.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior backend developers.
• Stay updated with the latest backend frameworks, cloud services, AI-based development, and security practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of backend development experience (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
• Proven experience integrating multiple payment gateways.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Webhooks, and Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine) for speedy development.
• Understanding and implementation of stitching methods in backend architecture.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of PCI DSS compliance and secure coding practices.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Vesu, Surat and join immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with subscription billing systems and recurring payments.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong grasp of design patterns, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Previous experience in a fintech or e-commerce domain.
• Team leadership or mentorship experience.
