Senior Azure / .NET Developer

Experience- 8+years

As senior Azure / .NET developer, you will join a team who is responsible for building and maintaining an innovative mobile application in a cloud environment on Azure.

Responsibilities:

• As part of a scrum team, you’ll contribute to the continuous development of the product features that are in the care of your team
• Design and develop new user stories, create & review pull requests, document your work, perform research, communicate clearly about your progress
• Troubleshoot issues and improve performance
• Together with your colleagues, you’ll make sure the product features meets all functional and non-functional requirements
• Producing clean, readable and testable code

Requirements

• You have in-depth knowledge of Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL and Redis.
• You have a good knowledge of Azure Functions, and more particularly the function runtime.
• You are familiar with Application Insights, Azure App Configuration and Azure Key Vault.
• You have a good knowledge of container-based development, and more specifically with Azure Kubernetes Service.
• You are familiar with microservices and distributed applications
• You are familiar with modern authentication such as OIDC and OAuth.
• Thorough production-proven knowledge of .NET framework.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience of .NET framework and C#
• Maturity towards collaboration: be able to do PR reviews, check clean code, use and improve coding guidelines & concepts
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum

Skills & competences:

• Experience with:
• Building secure API’s
• Leveraging messaging systems, such as Service Bus, for distributed processing
• Leveraging integration technologies such as API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid and Event Hub.
• Developing asynchronous, reliable backend tasks
• Understanding the various data storage options of the Azure Platform
• Excellent knowledge of .NET framework, C#, API and Service development, SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
• Able to write well-documented and clean code
• Affinity with maintaining and evolving a codebase to nourish high-quality code
• Familiar with one or more CI/CD environments
• Working experience in a SAFe environment is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Good communication skills that facilitate interaction
• Confident, detail oriented and highly motivated to be part of a high-performing team
• A positive mindset and continuous learning attitude
• You have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
• Open for travel to Belgium
