Job Description

Job Summary:

Azure DevOps Engineer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end

    CI/CD pipelines

    using

    Azure DevOps (ADO)

    .
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain

    Windows Servers

    and

    Active Directory

    infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using

    Infrastructure-as-Code

    (ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
  • Implement and manage

    Azure cloud services

    : VMs, App Services, AKS, Key Vault, Storage, etc.
  • Build and deploy applications using ADO pipelines with integrated testing and security checks.
  • Monitor systems and applications using tools like

    Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or SCOM

    .
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to improve reliability, performance, and scalability of applications and systems.
  • Enforce security best practices and compliance within the DevOps and cloud ecosystem.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices for Windows + Azure DevOps solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in

    Windows system administration and DevOps

    .
  • 3–5 years of strong hands-on experience with

    Azure DevOps (ADO)

    – Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards.
  • Deep expertise in

    Windows Server

    ,

    IIS

    ,

    Active Directory

    , and

    Group Policy

    .
  • Strong scripting experience in

    PowerShell

    (mandatory); experience with YAML and CLI tools is a plus.
  • Solid experience with

    Azure services

    : Virtual Machines, VNets, App Services, Key Vaults, Load Balancers, etc.
  • Experience with

    Infrastructure as Code

    (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with

    Azure Policy

    ,

    RBAC

    , and

    IAM

    for managing secure environments.
  • Knowledge of

    containerization

    and

    orchestration

    (Docker, AKS/Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and logging using

    Azure Monitor

    ,

    , or third-party tools.
