Senior Automation Test Lead

As a Senior Automation Test Lead at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the digital landscape and enhancing customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards - Creating and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria - Conducting root cause analysis for identified defects and working closely with developers for resolution - Promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing through code reviews and staying informed of industry technology trends - Advising and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and ensuring operational effectiveness - Leading a team to deliver impactful work, setting objectives, coaching employees, and appraising performance - Demonstrating leadership behaviors to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver excellent results - Engaging in complex data analysis to solve problems effectively and communicate complex information to stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Relevant work experience in development and/or test automation with a degree in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science - Expertise in Object Oriented Programming and proficiency in C#, Java, HTML, CSS - Strong technical background with excellent problem-solving abilities - Experience in test automation tools like junit, testng, nunit, webdriver, selenium, and others - Proven track record in agile, test-driven development, and automated testing - Ability to learn new tools, processes, and domains with good product and testing acumen - Excellent conflict management skills, communication abilities, and trust-building in a team environment Desirable Skillsets: - Experience in requirement analysis, creating test ware, defect reporting, and test estimations - Participating in test planning and monitoring team progress - Providing guidance to team members on technology and domain queries - Identifying project risks and working towards mitigating them - Contributing towards test plan/strategy creation and assisting in operational tasks - Overall senior level experience with 7 years in Card domain This role is based in Pune.,
