Senior Automation Test Lead

To excel in this role, you should possess the following experience and qualifications: - Relevant work experience in development and/or test automation, along with a degree in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science - Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and polyglot programming in languages such as C#, Java, HTML, and CSS - Strong technical background with excellent problem-solving skills - Expertise in test automation tools like junit, testng, nunit, webdriver, jmeter, selenium, and more - Proven track record in agile methodologies, test-driven development, and automated testing - Active involvement in open source tools for Automation/Quality Engineering - Good at critical thinking and questioning, with the ability to learn new tools and domains - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams - Knowledge of testing processes, terminologies, and tools - Participation in organizational activities to promote company culture and values - Conflict management skills and the ability to build trust and respect within the team Desirable skills include experience in requirement analysis, creating test ware, defect reporting, test estimations, and contributing to test planning and strategy. You should also have the ability to monitor team progress, communicate project status and metrics to stakeholders, and provide guidance to team members. This role will be based in Pune and aims to design, develop, and execute testing strategies to ensure software functionality, performance, and user experience meet quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyse requirements, and resolve defects to improve testing processes. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise on decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness. Leadership responsibilities include setting objectives, coaching employees, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
