Job Summary:

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using

  Selenium WebDriver

  and

  Java

  .
• Develop and execute automated test cases for web-based applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to identify test requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development team.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like

  JIRA

  or similar.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on automation best practices.
• Continuously optimize test scripts for reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in

  Test Automation

  with strong proficiency in

  Java

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  , TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid, etc.).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Experience with

  Maven/Gradle

  , Git, and version control systems.
• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of RESTful API automation (using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with

  BDD tools

  like Cucumber is a plus.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
