Senior Automation Engineer

As a Senior Automation Engineer specializing in Playwright testing, you will play a crucial role in our Quality Assurance (QA) team. With over 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for creating and executing automated tests for web applications to ensure their high quality, performance, and reliability. Your collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams will be vital in designing effective automation strategies and enhancing test coverage. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright, collaborating with developers to understand application features for test case implementation, executing automated tests, analyzing test results to provide actionable feedback, and continuously improving the test automation framework for efficiency and coverage. You will also design testing strategies for new features, ensure scalability and reusability of test scripts, troubleshoot issues, integrate Playwright tests with CI/CD pipelines, and assist in manual and regression testing. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in Playwright, a solid understanding of web technologies, proficiency in TypeScript, familiarity with CI tools, troubleshooting skills in both automated and manual testing environments, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications include experience in large-scale applications, knowledge of API and integration testing tools, and Agile methodology experience. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
