Senior Automation Engineer

You will be joining a global digital solutions company known for its expertise in cloud, data engineering, and quality assurance, with a strong focus on innovation and agile delivery across BFSI and Healthcare sectors. As a leader in Quality Assurance (QA), your primary responsibility will be to oversee both manual and automated testing activities across ETL pipelines, UI, and databases. Managing a team of QA professionals, you will collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to implement best practices in testing, create quality strategy documentation, and integrate with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools. Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing a QA team, analyzing requirements to develop detailed test cases and test data, validating ETL workflows and transformation logic using advanced SQL, creating and maintaining automation scripts using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) in Python, integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools, developing and maintaining documentation such as Test Strategy and Defect Reports, driving collaboration across various teams, and providing testing metrics and improvement plans to senior leadership. To qualify for this role, you should have a total of 9-12 years of QA experience with at least 6 years in ETL/UI/DB testing, 3+ years of experience in automation testing with Python, hands-on experience with SQL queries (preferably Snowflake/Postgres), familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, proven leadership skills in managing QA teams, working knowledge of Agile methodologies, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. It would be advantageous if you have exposure to tools such as DBT, Informatica, or MS Power BI, knowledge of Healthcare/Life Sciences domain, experience in front-end and back-end validation, and flexibility to work with international teams. The required education for this position includes a degree in BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.E., or M.Tech.,
