Lead the Evolution of Industrial Automation – Master Robotics and Control Systems! As a Sr. Engineer - Automation and Controls, you'll take charge of designing, programming, and implementing state-of-the-art automation systems that transform industrial processes. With a deep knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial robots, you’ll ensure smooth operations, optimize production lines, and troubleshoot both hardware and software to deliver high-performance solutions. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of complex automation systems, programming PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems along with industrial robots (Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) to achieve efficiency and precision in manufacturing processes. Program and optimize movement of industrial robots for applications like welding, material handling, and assembly lines. Ensure seamless integration between robots and PLC systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs, develop tailored solutions, and implement systems that drive productivity and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve issues within automation systems, including hardware, software, and control systems. Maintain system stability through hands-on troubleshooting. Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and present system simulations to clients, ensuring high satisfaction and adherence to project requirements. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to automation systems, including designs, protocols, execution reports, and compliance with industry standards. What We’re Looking For: Expertise in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, with knowledge of Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell controllers, and familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet). Experience in programming and managing robots (Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, Comau), with knowledge of TCP setting, part programming, handshaking with PLCs. Deep understanding of automation software such as TIA Portal, WinCC, Studio 5000, FT View, and experience with SCADA/HMI development and ladder logic, SCL, S7 Graph, and STL programming languages. Skilled in robot teaching, offline programming, user frame settings, and movement programming for various robotic applications in material handling and assembly lines. Strong understanding of network topologies, communications, and database management (SQL, SSRS). Hands-on experience in selecting and integrating switch gears and a variety of sensors, including proximity, distance, weight, temperature, and pressure sensors. Proficient in designing and controlling pneumatic systems. Creating and analyzing Electrical Drawings (GA, SLD) for accurate system design and execution. Deep understanding of automation standards in industries like automotive, material handling, and special-purpose machines (SPM).
