Key Responsibilities / Accountability

• Technical Drawings & Layout Finalization Prepare and refine 2D layout plans, working drawings, fabrication detailing, and structural files for events, exhibitions, and activations.
• Creative-Production Collaboration Work closely with 3D Visualisers, Project Managers, and Production Leads to ensure creative intent is accurately translated into executable drawings.
• Material Intelligence & Feasibility Planning Advise on material selection & fabrication techniques to ensure design durability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with venue and safety regulations.
• Accuracy in Spatial Planning Ensure optimal utilization of space by accounting for dimensions, attendee flow, safety measures, structural balance, and venue-specific restrictions.
• Documentation & Version Control Maintain up-to-date documentation, version control, and detailed drawing repositories for internal teams and vendor handover.
• Site Coordination & Technical Supervision Support on-site teams during setup and dismantling, providing layout clarifications, resolving deviations, and ensuring fidelity to design specs.
• Innovation in CAD Best Practices Continuously enhance technical standards by introducing new workflows, file structuring logic, and streamlined drawing conventions.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience: Skills & Competencies

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or equivalent technical field.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in CAD design within event, exhibition, architecture, or experiential marketing industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, and related tools.
• Sound understanding of structures, materials, dimensions, and venue layouts.
• Ability to interpret 3D views and translate them into 2D production-ready documents.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy, timelines, and execution feasibility.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
