About the Role

As aSenior Associate, Patient Data Management, you will be part of Amgens globalPatient Data Managementteam, supporting the design, integration, and ongoing management of patient data assets that power analytics and insights into the patient journey.

You will play an integral execution roleworking closely with cross-functional partners, vendors, and global teams to ensure that Amgens patient data (e.g., Patient Support Programs and Specialty Pharmacy data) is accurately curated, compliant, and readily available for downstream analytics and reporting.

This role offers a strong platform to build expertise inpharma data management,data governance, andpatient analytics enablementwithin a global, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Patient Data Operations and Integration

  • Assist in gathering data requirements for onboarding new Patient Support Programs (PSP), Specialty Pharmacy (SP) partners, and other patient-level data sources
  • Support implementation of end-to-end data curation and transformation processes for new and existing patient data feeds
  • Participate in linking first- and third-party patient data assets to enable longitudinal patient journey analytics across data sources (e.g., SPP, Hub, Syndicated)
  • Monitor daily operations of patient data aggregation, ensuring timely data delivery and accuracy in collaboration with vendor partners
  • Identify, log, and help resolve data quality issues and anomalies across patient data pipelines
  • Support data validation, audit, and reconciliation processes to ensure data completeness and integrity
  • Ensure adherence to Amgens Privacy, Compliance, and Security SOPs for all patient-level data assets

2. Data Governance and Compliance

  • Support governance processes for secure and compliant access to sensitive patient data
  • Maintain documentation for data onboarding, lineage, and access approval workflows
  • Assist in implementing data controls, validations, and checks in line with governance requirements
  • Contribute to periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory policies

3. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with cross-functional teamsincluding Patient Access, IS, and Commercial Data Strategyto align on data requirements, deliverables, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with external data vendors to track deliverables, manage issues, and ensure smooth data ingestion and processing
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
  • Support documentation, knowledge sharing, and team training materials to enhance operational consistency

Basic Qualifications

  • Masters degreeand 1-3 years of relevant pharmaceutical data management experienceOR
  • Bachelors degree and 2-4 years of relevant pharmaceutical data management experience
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional teams across time zones
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)

Functional Skills

Must-Have

  • Experience indata management, analytics, or commercial operationswithin the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain
  • Hands-on experience withlarge data setsand translating data into insights or reports
  • Familiarity with data technologies and tools such asAWS or other cloud platforms,SQL,Databricks,Tableau,SAS,Python, orR
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements for IT and vendor teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and governance
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with global stakeholders

Good-to-Have

  • Exposure topatient-level data sourcessuch as PSPs, Specialty Pharmacies, Syndicated Claims, or Digital Data
  • Understanding ofdata privacy and compliance frameworks(HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience working inAgile or Product Team environments
  • Awareness ofScaled Agile Framework (SAFe)principles
