Senior Associate

Role Overview: As a Senior Associate at HC Global Fund Services, LLC, your primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure the smooth functioning of middle office and back office functions. You will be tasked with reviewing daily reconciliations and reports prepared by Associate Accountants, providing feedback to enhance their work quality, and overseeing monthly and quarterly reporting processes. It will be your duty to guide and monitor the progress of Associate Accountants, ensuring that all fund administration procedures are followed meticulously. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Director and/or Associate Directors in day-to-day operations, managing inquiries and communications with the team. - Prepare time budgets for engagements, coordinate with auditors and tax personnel for year-end activities, and conduct training sessions for peers during non-busy periods. - Evaluate the performance of Associate Accountants, provide timely feedback for improvement, and assist in client relationship management. - Assist in resolving software and system-related issues, participate in process automation projects, and conduct training sessions on system usage. - Contribute to testing software customizations, evaluating prospective systems, and ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of current software and systems. - Support fund admin process improvements and automation initiatives across different teams within the organization. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and possess professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). - Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to Fund Administration or Asset Management Audit. - Possess strong leadership skills, business acumen, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and flexibility in work hours.
