Job Description

To provide investment banking research and analytics support to IB/Advisory firm. Work on deal origination and execution work streams including financial modelling/valuation analysis Key Rsponsibilities Supportingour clients on multiple projects oninvestment banking mandates Preparingpitch books, industry reports, deals and peers screening, company profiles, macroeconomicupdates and company focused discussion documents related to various industries. Preparingfinancial analysis including trading/ transaction comparable, operational/financial benchmarking, valuation analysis, financial modeling etc. Operational/financial benchmarking, valuation, public market information and performanceratio analysis PortfolioManagement: Ability to manage and optimize portfolios of limited partnershipinterests, ensuring diversification and risk management. Assist in Portfoliomanagement, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting. MarketInsight: Deep knowledge of the private equitymarket, including trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape.Market and industry research on both a primary and secondary research basis. ValuationExpertise : Proficiency in valuing privateequity fund interests and understanding the intricacies of different valuationmethods. Run financial models for underlying companies (asset operatingmodels, LBO) and fund level returns. DueDiligence: Expertise in conducting thorough duediligence to assess the quality and potential of fund interests beingtraded. Manage interactions with buyers and respond to due diligenceinquiries and contribute to client relationship management and deal originationinitiatives. Quantitative and qualitative due diligence on leveraged buyout,venture capital and other private equity limited partnership interests andtheir underlying company investments. AnalyticalSkills : Participate in evaluation andanalysis of secondary transactions and assets across stages (i.e. buyout,venture, growth equity, etc.), industries and geographies. Ability to analysecomplex financial data and market conditions to make informedinvestment decisions. Construct an opinion around various investmentopportunities and efficiently communicate it both verbally and in writtenmaterials. Required Background Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.) 4+ years of experience in the Investment banking space Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in client relationship management Should be able to work independently with minimal guidance as the job requires working with senior leadership team at the clients end Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel and Power Point (extensive use of excel models and powerpoint)
