As a Senior Associate in the Core International Tax Advisor team at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with our international tax services team, recognized for its leadership in international tax advisory and cross-border M&A. Your role will involve advising some of the world's largest corporations on their international tax planning and M&A deals, specifically focusing on the Core offering within the International Transaction Tax Service (ITTS) Practice, which includes Product & Services and Telecoms, media & Technology sectors. You will have the privilege of collaborating with renowned Partners and a high-performing team with a track record of advising on high-profile transactions. This is an exciting time to join our growing ITTS team, where you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate market challenges on an international scale. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects aimed at assisting clients in developing and executing their international tax strategy. This includes but is not limited to, expansion into new markets, pre-transaction reorganizations, legal structure rationalization, capital structure optimization, managing global law changes such as BEPS, and negotiating with tax authorities in the UK and globally. Your key responsibilities will involve managing and assisting in the delivery of international tax services engagements with a focus on technical excellence, client service, and business development. You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to winning new clients and engagements. To qualify for this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience in corporate tax with demonstrable advisory experience. Additionally, you should hold one of the following qualifications: ATT / ACA / CA / CTA or possess a breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA. Strong technical skills and a willingness to further develop them are essential for success in this role. Ideal candidates will also have experience working on International Tax projects, possess project management skills, and demonstrate the ability to plan, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets effectively.
