The opportunity
We are looking for a analyst role in Finance and Accounting Services. The person will be responsible for the delivery of Group Services GSL Account Receivable process from our India delivery center. He/she needs execute related control/operational activities. This role is a mix of handling day to day activities, managing customers & stakeholders. This role will be based in Gurgaon India. Principle purpose of the role is Managing Cash Application process, Managing Transactional Requests (Invoicing and Refunds), Query Management and Investigation of unidentified receipts. Preparation and circulation of Operational Reports to key stakeholders.
About The Role
Reporting to the Sr. Advisor – Accounts Receivable / GSL. Scope of work will include
- Ensuring Timely Cash application and allocation of Cash receipts to customer accounts (High Radius Cash application and Manual Cash application)
- Monitoring Daily Cash Application process
- Review of Transactional Invoicing and Refund requests
- Ensuring accuracy and timely completion of assigned activities
- Collaborating with various internal teams and external parties for identification of unidentified receipts
- Preparation and circulation of Operational reports to internal stakeholders
- Ability to interact with multicultural third parties.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform activities to meet deadlines
- Responsible for Accounts Receivables process Month-End closing and governance on Customer Account Balances and clearing
About You
Educational qualification
- Commerce/Management graduates - B. Com/BBA/ ICWA/MBA Finance
Professional Experience & Technical Skills
- 3 to 5 years of Finance operations, AR operations or similar experience
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP
- Knowledge of MS Office (Proficiency in MS Excel)/Teams /PowerPoint
- Cash Application e.g. High Radius or similar Automation Interface
- Banking Portal and Bank Statement handling
- Knowledge of Bank statement upload (Manual / Automated)
- Possess knowledge of general accounting principles
- Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
Soft Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of MS Office/Teams /SharePoint
- Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information
- Excellent time management and organizational ability
- Willingness to work in global environment and time zones
- Knowledge of French would be an advantage
